I am swimming 2 miles, as part of the London Classics. This is a big challenge for me, as I only learnt to swim in 2022 as I have had a fear of water since being a young child, I didn't ever get my little duckling badges. I will be doing this as part of the Mental Elf initiative to promote mental health awareness, have a bit of fun and also spread the small acts of kindness message. Your support will motivate me and help us make a positive impact together.

I want to raise money for Small Acts of Kindness as they do amazing work in the community, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation for older and vulnerable people, one small act of kindness at a time. Their biggest project ensures that every older person they reach, feels warmer in their home, less lonely and connected to their community. The older generation have always been close to my heart as I am very close to my grandparents and they have always supported the elderly community.

Many older people struggle to keep warm in their homes, feeling lonely and socially isolated. Currently, 12,000 of their Warm in Winter gift bags are sourced, packed and distributed across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, every year. It takes a lot of organising, a lot of volunteers and a lot of kindness.....and a lot of money to keep them going so please help by sponsoring me any little bit you have.

'No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted'

Thank you Roxy (Mental Elf)
