4 years ago I could not swim front crawl and was scared to get out of my depth, especially in open water. Now, I am going to be swimming 2 miles of the Serpentine for Small Acts of Kindness.

I have seen this wonderful charity develop over the last few years and want to see it continue to grow. They do amazing work in the community, helping to reduce loneliness and isolation for older and vulnerable people, one small act of kindness at a time. Their biggest project ensures that every older person they reach, feels warmer in their home, less lonely and connected to their community.

Many older people struggle to keep warm in their homes, feeling lonely and socially isolated. Currently, 12,000 of their Warm in Winter gift bags are sourced, packed and distributed across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, every year. It takes a lot of organising, a lot of volunteers and a lot of kindness.....and a lot of money to keep them going so please help by sponsoring me.

Thank you
